Classic Summer Cocktail Recipes

Summer will be over before you know it! No summer would be complete without at least a couple of these classic summer cocktail recipes! These drinks are sure to cool you down and put a smile on your face as you relax and unwind in the late summer sun!

Summer Cocktail Recipes: Mint Julep

This classic Kentucky Derby drink is a must-try, even after the iconic event is long over!

  • 1/2 ounce of simple syrup
  • 2.5 ounces of bourbon
  • 10 mint leaves
  • 3 mint sprigs

Muddle the mint leaves to release the flavor, then blend the ingredients in a chilled cup filled with crushed ice. Garnish with mint sprigs and enjoy!

Summer Cocktail Recipes: The Paloma

This must-try cocktail is best with Squirt soda, but it can be rather difficult to find so if you must, substitute with Izze or Ting grapefruit soda.

  • 2 ounces of Squirt, Ting or Izze
  • 1/2 ounce of lime juice
  • 1 ounces of tequila

Blend these three ingredients in a salt-rimmed glass, half filled with ice. Garnish with a grapefruit wheel.

Summer Cocktail Recipes: A Classic Diaquiri

To make up a manly summer diaquiri, get out the rum and try this recipe:

  • 3 ounces of rum
  • 1 ounce of lime juice
  • 1 ounce of simple syrup

Simply blend these three ingredients in a shaker and shake with ice. Garnish with a slice of lime and enjoy!
