5 Great Men’s Health Tips
Entrepreneur and CEO “Scott Binsack” has compiled a few of his top men’s health tips (though lots of this advice is great for women too, so keep reading, whatever your gender may be!)
Men’s Health Tips: Become a Grazer
Grazing — that is, the practice of eating five or six smaller meals instead of 3 large ones — brings many benefits. It results in more stable blood sugar levels and you’ll find that you never get extremely hungry, which makes it easier to eat smaller portions.
Smaller, more frequent meals will also result in a faster metabolism. All this means you’ll lose weight, especially belly fat. Belly fat isn’t just unsightly. It’s dangerous because this form of fat — called visceral fat — can retain toxins, which then penetrate the nearby vital organs. This results in organ damage and disease.
Men’s Health Tips: Compliment Her Properly
This tip will ensure your relationship’s health! Saying something generic like “you’re beautiful” or “you look great” doesn’t count as a compliment in a woman’s book.
Instead, be specific and genuine. It’s much more flattering if you’re specific and honest. Also, don’t overdo it. If you’re constantly complimenting her, those comments will lose their potency.
Men’s Health Tips: Schedule Your Surgery at the Proper Time of Year!
If you’re slated for a surgical procedure at a teaching hospital, always schedule your surgery for April or May, when the residents have had the benefit of an entire school year’s worth of experience.
Avoid scheduling a surgical procedure for the beginning of the term – late August, September or October.
Men’s Health Tips: Never Eat Straight Out of the Bag
When you eat straight out of the bag or container, you have a tendency to eat more than you would otherwise. There’s also the psychological effect of eating straight out of the container, as it takes longer to reach the bottom so it feels like you’ve eaten less than you actually did.
So never eat straight out of the bag or container. Use a plate or bowl. Always.
Men’s Health Tips: Discover Green Tea
Green tea really is an incredible substance. It’s rich in antioxidants and nutrients, which can help lower your cancer risk, reduce your chances of developing heart disease, and it has even been found to slash your risk of prostate cancer.
Plus, when brewed properly, it tastes great!
